Two Hilarious Moments

The First:
Lyndsey and I went to eat dinner at the Vivint Cafe (Trav's work). After we ate, Annabelle was exploring down the hall when I heard Travis say, "Uh-oh, Annabelle's in the Elevator!" He rushed over only to miss stopping the elevator by seconds. Our baby girl was heading up to Floor 2 and continuing on to Floor 3. Travis ran up the stairs to try and find her while I waited just in case she came back down. After a couple of minutes, the elevator doors opened and out walks Annabelle, as happy as can be, with two friends. They said they saw a little girl leave the elevator on Floor 3 alone... figured something's not right, and brought her safely back to mom and dad. The funny thing was she was perfectly happy with her little adventure and wanted to ride again!

The Second:
Immediately following the elevator incident, Travis went to drive his car from the back parking lot to the front to get Annabelle's car seat out of Lyndsey's car. Annabelle was pretty adamant she went with Daddy and being the fun guy he is let her sit in his lap and "drive." He wasn't sure where we were parked and at the last minute saw us right before passing the car. He slammed on the brakes (I'm totally watching this whole thing) and Annabelle's head flings forward and honks the horn! We all about died from laughter... we're just glad Annabelle's good with being our constant entertainment :)

Sincerely,
Team Tolman

  1. My Dad always said that children are cheap entertainment:) Aaron did the same thing to me at Dad's huge hospital in El Paso when he was the same age. We found him happily being spoiled at a nurses station several floors up. Oh my...hanging on to these little adventurers is a challenge! You escaped out of a store in downtown El Paso (scary) and were determinedly walking down the sidewalk. I can still feel the terror from all of these occasions!

  2. Oh my gosh!! Hahahahahah that is hilarious! I hope she didn't bruise her head of anything. But that is a little bit scary about her getting on the elevator. I wonder how confused the people were once they saw a baby walk off, alone! haha

  3. That's hilarious! Kids are the best form of entertainment. :) Just wait until she starts saying sentences!
